Adolf Hitler loosing the title ‘honorary citizen’

Adolf Hitler.During a G8 summit that took place in June 2007 in a city named Bad Doberan it has caught attention that Adolf Hitler was still listed as an honorary citizen in the city’s directory up to the year 2006.

During his lifetime, more than 4000 German cities honoured him this way. The title is usually taken away upon the death of the citizen.
